1. Multi-Level Hierarchies & Escalations for Tasks
Managing different Tasks in Alyne is rarely ever a one-man job. It often relies on different reporting lines and hierarchical structures across different use cases to get the task completed. This month, we have improved on the functionality of Alyne’s Tasks and introduced Escalations across multiple (hierarchical) levels.
Configuring your own internal hierarchies – which can be found in your organisation settings – is a powerful tool to build up various reporting lines for different use cases in Alyne. For example, one user in the platform might be required to review, report and escalate a Task to Manager A and another to Manager B. This hierarchy data structure is now available for Alyne Users to configure, store and leverage for all of your various use case requirements.
Furthermore, you can define rules within your Escalations, outside of the specified organisation settings. This means that you can dynamically execute an escalation path up the chain of command, and the Alyne platform will escalate accordingly.
2. Lifecycle Changes in Risk History
We have just added further visibility to the lifecycle of Risks. Users are now able to better track what changes were made to the Risk lifecycle, and who made the changes. In the Risk History tab, you will now see draft-approved, draft-cancelled and draft-created events.
3. Advanced Beacon Settings
With great power comes great responsibility; Admin users are now able to configure the type of support that different user types can receive via the “Manage Org” settings.
4. Alyne Hook
Our newly improved Alyne Extend capabilities provides outgoing connectivity to other standardised systems in an event-driven manner. You can now look forward to creating subscribers to Alyne events and establishing if-this-then-that behaviour(s)!
5. Additional Filters and Sorting for Risks
With additional filters and sorting capabilities for custom risk attributes, Users are now able to easily identify specific Risks. Selecting multiple filters will ‘stack’ the filters to provide a more comprehensive search for the Risk(s) that you are looking for.
