Alyned Thinking

Why new thinking is needed and how we are putting our expertise to work.

November New Features

different tools assembled

We've been busy at Alyne this November, with updates to Attachments, Funnel Triggers, Incidents, and Risks.

Summary of Changes

Attachments by Link

Users can now attach a file to an Alyne object using a Link, rather than by uploading a file. In Settings, Admin Users also have the ability to enable and disable Attachments by File, by Link, or both.

Alyne Users can now also attach items to Incidents.

Link between Incidents and Risks

We've made it easier to understand the linkage between an Incident and the underlying Risk relating to that Incident - simply click on the Risk Flag icon on the Incident tile to display all relevant Risk data.

Item IDs

We've added Item IDs for each Task, Managed Risk (ie Risks in Risk Dashboard) and Incident. For example, this Task has the ID "T0164".

Deleting Custom Funnel Templates

Users can now delete Custom Funnel Templates that have been created (note that Alyne Funnel Templates can not be deleted).

Funnel Updates

Duration of Funnel Reviews - when you create a Review as a Funnel Trigger, you will now be asked to set the duration of the review (in addition to identifying the Reviewer), i.e. the number of days within which the Reviewer should conduct the review of the Funnel outcome.

Completion of Funnel Review - the Funnel owner will now be notified when the reviewer has completed a review.
