Library Update - VAIT KRITIS

The Alyne library has been updated to cover the KRITIS extension module of VAIT (Versicherungsaufsichtliche Anforderungen an die IT), published by BaFin.

The update has been provided, as with all library updates, to existing and new Alyne customers alike. The new content includes a VAIT KRITIS Control Set containing 187 Control Statements and a corresponding Assessment. We also added new Control Statements to the Alyne library to appropriately cover the extension of the existing standard.

The Control Set covers the KRITIS extension module of VAIT which is addressed solely to insurance companies whose services are part of critical infrastructure. The extension specifies obligations on how to document organisational and technical provisions as to avoid outage or interference of these services. Additionally, it covers requirements towards Risk Management and BCM.
