Library Update: Essential 8

The Alyne library has just been updated with new content to meet the Essential Eight requirements published by the Australian Signals Directorate.

The Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) advises Australian businesses and government organisations in Australia to take eight core steps to ensure the security and safety of data on individual computers. The newly introduced control set includes three new control statements along with mappings to existing controls in the Alyne Library. The update includes a Control Set and an Assessment Set provisioned to all new and existing customers of Alyne. The update is likely to most relevant to our Australian Government customers, who can now combine reporting based on international security and risk standards along with the ASD's Essential 8.

Contact our sales team at support@alyne.com to learn how Alyne can help your Essential 8 compliance program or learn about how you can experience Alyne’s capabilities in a Proof of Concept.
