July New Features

Following hot on the heels of the many new features that were released last month, our team has been hard at work developing a large number of improved functionality and features for all Alyne customers to benefit from. Read on to learn how we've made user management more efficient, introduced smarter, more informative displays of risk data and more...


New features:

Improved Team and User Management within Org Settings

Expert Users now have greater control in managing their organisation's Teams and Users. Located in the "Teams" and "Users" tabs under Org settings, Expert Users can create, edit, remove, change user types and more, with far greater efficiency. This update dramatically improves user management and supports a large number of users without any impact on performance.



Radar Diagram Updates


1. Display of Data

When viewing risks within the Radar Diagram, the data is now displayed in a rotated view around the diagram. 

2. Radar Diagram Variants

Users can now toggle between three different data values to be displayed within the Radar diagram. By switching between the three new buttons to view the data in terms of:

A) Mean Value
The assessed values are grouped by averaging them.

B) Mode Value
The most frequently assessed value is taken as group value.

C) Max Target Value
While grouping the assessment responses, assessed values exceeding the target maturity are floored to the target maturity.


Funnel Attachments

Within Funnels, Users can now add attachments in the form of a file upload or a link, directly into the 'Funnel Details' section. This allows users to provide greater information about the Funnel, which may be too content-heavy or complex to include into the Funnel's questions' title.



Search for Objects within Assessments & Funnel

When creating or configuring an Assessment or a Funnel, Users can now search and add different associated Objects to them. These smart, searchable Object lists make it much easier to locate and assign your objects to an Assessment or a Funnel.






Export Risks as PDF

Risk Reports within the Alyne dashboard can now be exported as a PDF and can be customised to export all, or specific risk data that you would like to select. To do this, navigate to the Risk Dashboard, select "More options" from the arrow option on the right and click the download button that appears. To export only certain risks, configure your risks or risk tags in the dashboard beforehand, and then complete the same steps to download the risks visible on the screen.


'Review Object' option on Funnel

A brand new feature that includes an option for "Object Review.' When selecting this option in the funnel configuration, it requires the user to review that the Object details are accurate after the funnel questions have been answered.
